Malacca Food - Part 1

I am planning for a trip to malacca somewhere next weekend with a bunch of family and friends. Malacca is among the best place that holds many historical monuments and places. When i mention about food, off course the best treat would be the Baba & Nyonya or Peranakan style of cuisine available in original shape and taste. Among the best is the Baba Nyonya cendol. Cendol is delightful dessert soaked in pure coconut milk. The content of cendol is none other than some mashed red beans, noodles like green cendol strings (made of rice flour, i assume) and blended with pure gula melaka (palm sugar syrup). it's creamy and best served with blended ice. I heard that the best cendol in Malacca is in Antik 88 shop along Jonker Street. So gonna make sure i taste it and i will definitely upload the pic's.

If you are in Malacca, don't forget to get your mouth busy with its famous Portuguese dishes. San Pedro Restaurant is among the oldest portuguese restaurent in Malacca located in Portuguese Settlement. It offers variety of homemade portuguese cuisine. The prices are quite expensive but the environment and the concept of the restaurant is amazing. Among the must try menu is their mouth watering signature dish - Devil Curry.

I will offer more menus after my vacation to Malacca. We have booked an apartment (don't ask me where pls...m incharge of the eating spots !).
